The Wyman family has been a part of Blandford since Horatio and Eliza (Hanchett) Wyman moved to town in 1840. In 2017, 245 Wyman descendants from all of the country gathered for a weekend at the White Church to share family stories and photos. During the preparations for the reunion they shared favorite family recipes that were put together in this cookbook.
Included in this treasure is Edna (Wyman) Hart's Chicken Pie recipe that was featured in Yankee Magazine. Many recipes were blue ribbon winners at the Blandford Fair. To add an historical perspective there are a couple of recipes from Emma (Reed) Wyman's cookbook from the late 1800s including Hogs Head Cheese.
