The Blandford Historical Society looks forward to hosting the descendants of the Blandford Blairs on Labor Day Weekend of 2025. We will also be honoring Mary Powers, author of the Blair Family of New England Revisited.
The Historic White Church of Blandford is the perfect place to host a large gathering, and the Blandford Fair will be happening right next door at the same time. Having the Blandford Fair next door means that there will be a variety of food options right next door, and exhibits and events that can be entertaining to family members who may not be as excited about the Blair family history as you are.
While we are still In the planning stages, we hope to have a tour of the Old Burying Ground where many of the early Blairs are buried, and possibly a walking tour on Blair Road. Attendees are also encouraged to make suggestions and we would welcome descendants of the Blandford Blairs to make their own presentations.
We are asking you to spread the word to your Blair cousins, aunts and uncles and we can help track people down If you would like. Please share a link to this page with anyone who might be interested.
