Went out to Emersons. Had ever so much dinner and then oyster supper in evening. Em, Bell and Henrys folks went to wedding party to Curtis Blairs. *Thanksgiving, 1866 November 28, 1866
Come home from Springfield. Emerson drove. We did not get home till some time after dark. It rained some. November 27, 1866
? Ella got a new piece of music. Mrs. Blair called. Father and Emerson come with some cheese. Emerson was sick. November 26, 1866
Got a letter from home saying Mr. Hinsdale is going to marry Mrs. Lloyd. Tonight Mr. Chaffee called. I went out on the street. November 25, 1866
Went in day time twice, to South Church. In evening to First Church. Heard Dr. Eddy of Northampton from Lam (?) November 24, 1866
Better. Went with Laura and Addie over the new schoolhouse. In afternoon U and I went out. Got me a new delaine, new scarf. Stopped at Miss Bruns? Got frame for bonnet. November 22, 1866
Libbie went to cutting mine and U’s when word came her husband was sick and she must go home. Emerson and I went home. November 21, 1866
Emerson and C come. Libbie and I went out and traded. Got cloak cloth. 4 1/2 dollars…for C and myself. I had a sick night. |
