Sunday, October 21, 1866 Did not make a cheese. Went all day to the new church. No seat, sat with Henry. *Henry would be their son, Henry Knox Herrick who had a falling out with ‘Father’ and Mary doesn’t get to see him very often.

Saturday, October 20, 1866 Brett Lovett the hired man gone home to Spd. (Springfield?)  Friday, October 19, 1866 Aunt Sule and Louise come down home with me but went home same night. Father sick.  Thursday, October 18, 1866 Dedication. Father went to Depot with potatoes for Milo. Thom Pratt come. I left him with (Grandma and went.)   |
