Emerson come for Em and Liss. They went out to Cs to cut and make ? for the S school. Met at the school house to sing for the Fourth. Father got Joe Smith.

Milo here. They tore down the old shop. Went to W place and got some timber of that hog pen. Tom come up but did not stay. I went to ? Called to Henrys and Mrs. Elisha Ss. Rode home with L Blair. Wednesday, June 27, 1866
Father and Ely Wyman gone to work for Milo on the road. I whitewashed the kitchen. Liss and I cleaned up. Liss gone to sewing society to Mrs. W. E. Boies. Tuesday, June 26, 1866
Made another great cheese and baked some. So very warm. I am so tired. Ely Wyman come out at noon to help father. *Ely Wyman was the 12 year old son of blacksmith Horatio Wyman Monday, June 25, 1866
We washed. Girls walked to their school. Father hoed potatoes up to the other place. Sunday, June 24, 1866
Made a cheese. Went to meeting in afternoon. Very warm. H and Lid Blair here in evening. Saturday, June 23, 1866

Made a large cheese this morning. Men at work on road. Mr. Hayden’s funeral. L Blaine and wife and Mrs. Osborne took tea. Thursday, June 21, 1866
Just going to cleaning when Aunt Clara? Come. Liss ironing. I devoted up my time to have her visit pleasant. Liss and Lucia went to sw up town. |
