I don’t feel well.  Em cutting the girls’ dresses.  Bell went up to work for C.  It rained.  Father went hunting.  Hired man Granville way.

Monday, October 30, 1865
The girls washed.  I felt sick.  In afternoon Liss went up to help Charlotte.  Em and Bell started to go up for evening, met Liss, she said they had gone.  Had one load turned.

Sunday, October 29, 1865
Went to church.  Went to Cs at noon for the last time on the Sabbath.  The funeral of Mrs. Israel Knox.

Saturday, October 28, 1865
Rainy.  Made a curd.  Baked.  Kim O come, staid to tea.  Bell and Lucie went to Mrs. Sperry.  Em closed her school.

Bell worked for C.  Liss went up and worked for C.  Rainy and snow.

Thursday, October 26, 1865
Emerson (or Emma?) gone to Springfield.  Wm H come.  Ida and L staid all night.  Mr. Mason come, got some vinegar.  Father carried a ? to depot.

I made a cheese in forenoon.  Walter and Lottie come, brought down beach leaves.  Ida and Jennie come.  I went up to Cs.

The girls washed.  Father went to W place, got some cattle, took up to Allens, come home, went to depot.  Liss took home ?

Went to church in afternoon.  Had Mr. Boise.  Lizzie’s husband.  Went to C’s after church.  Babies got chicken pox.  The funeral of the third colored child this afternoon.
