Old Timers Meeting - October 23, 1986
...And ah, just one more thing that came to me tonight. Mother often took us to Otis, to Big Pond to go swimming in the summer. I recall one time we went out there and she had on a white blouse and a long black skirt and she decided she wanted to wade. She took off her shoes and her stockings and started wading and pulled her skirt up to her knees. Ethel’s sister Bell was with us and she took a picture of mother. And that was the most shocking thing! To see a picture of Mother with her skirt up to her knees. Times have changed.
