J (James) took another load of his goods and colt and Walter took the cow and bull and went. Henry got J to renew the note. There was unpleasant things said. Henry carried Libbie and her children over to Georges. Came back here in afternoon. Said he would stay with us but we were not afraid. Ida and Carrie Osborn come.

AuthorWe have now transcribed the diaries of Mary (Knox) Herrick from 1865 and 1866, the two earliest of hers that we have. The next diary of Mary that we have is from 1872 and we will be transcribing and posting from that diary every day this year. Archives
